OUR STORY
BUILT FOR LIFE ON THE LAKE.
Great Outdoors Services LLC was founded in 2000 by people who are genuinely part of Minnesota lake country. We are not a generic contractor franchise looking to expand into a new market — we are a local business built around the specific needs of lakefront property owners in the Prior Lake, Shakopee, and greater Minnesota lake community. From day one, our pride has been in our regional roots and our deep understanding of what it means to own and care for property on the water.
Over the years, we have grown from our early beginnings into a full-service outdoor property company capable of handling everything from barge work and boat transportation to tree services, shrink wrapping, winterization, storm damage response, outdoor lighting, and storage. Our customers rely on one trusted team for the full range of their lakefront and property needs — no searching for multiple vendors, no gaps in accountability.

Pete Haugh
Sales Manager/Dock Crew
Pete is one of the most happy people you will ever meet, and that is one of the biggest reasons among many others we wanted him to be a part of the team. Pete came on board in 2018 and has been a great addition with the most positive attitude you can ask for. He has quickly learned a lot about the business, and his eagerly gotten involved in sales and learning many other nuts and bolts items that make this company run on a daily basis.
During the off-season, Pete is a Pro Downhill Ski Instructor at Beaver Creek Resort in Vail, CO. He has 20 years experience, and is by far one of the best skiers we know hands down, so if you are ever in Colorado, and you and your family are looking for lessons from one of the best, be sure to look him up.
When not at work, Pete enjoys spending time with his Girlfriend Tressa, who is also a lot of fun and family time. He also enjoys water skiing, and helps Trevor in the Summer months with Youth Water Ski Lessons. Give Pete a call with any of your Lakefront needs, and we promise you, he will be there with a smile on to give you the hand you need in any area.
